The Book Thief

This book is about a German girl named Liesel Meminger who lives in a foster home and doesn't have the best life. The parents, Rosa and Hans aren't that wealthy and so they hve to trade cigarettes that Hans smokes in order to get books. Speaking of books, the narrator considers Liesel a books thief. Liesel steals books from the mayor's library, and the Nazi fire. But when they hide a Jew in their basement.... thats when everything changes.
This book is full of suspense and questions, and has a lot of action. I really enjoyed it although it would probably be considered a two week book.

I haven't read this book yet, though I've heard good things about it. I always like to know more about a books story, so I thank you for the new information.
