Week 5 Ask My Mood Ring How I Feel

This week I read a book called Ask My Mood Ring How I Feel by Diana Lopez. This book is about a girl named Erica but her nickname is Chia since she has a lot of Chia Pets. She has two younger siblings, one a geeky little sister named Carmen, and the other one is a two year old little brother named Jimmy. When they find out their mom has breast cancer, everything flips. Erica has to do all she can to fullfill her promesa, meaning promise in Spanish. This book really makes you think, and is a medium pace book that is pretty touching and expresses the fact that friends really do help even if they are 'long lost'. This page might be a two week book for some people, but is pretty simple to read in one week.

Number of pages- 324
Pace- Medium
Next week's book- Masterpiece by Elise Broach

Week 3 Book Abby Vilner

This week I read a book called Leap Day by Wendy Mass which has 212 pages. This book is would probably be more of a medium book with pretty funny/ intense parts to it. This book is about a 16 year old girl who was born on leap day so she would be turning 4 in leap years. She has an older brother who is 18 and is a pretty good older brother who is willing to drive Josie, his little sister around in a old car that has been passed on from their mom, who got it from their grandma. The whole day, Josie is looking forward to the evening at the lake although she has no idea what is going on. This book is recommended for GIRLS because some parts include girly stuff including giving birth at 18. I really liked this book because the author is very descriptive and its as if your in the book, seeing everything. Although like I said some parts are intense, the book is a kind of touching, funny book. Next week I am planning on reading Ask My Mood Ring How I Feel by Diana Lopez.

Abby Vilner's book review

This week I read a book called The One and Only Zoe Lama by Tish Cohen. This book is about a twelve year old who is really popular in school for helping everyone with their problems. One day, a new girl named Devon Sweeney joins Zoe's class and pretty much takes over Zoe's job for no good reason. This is a pretty fun book that is funny, a little touching near the end, and shows off how different people's personalities could be. I recommend this book for people who like books at a medium/fastish pace and for mostly girls. I can't really think of a book that relates to it though... Next week i am planing to read a book called Leap Day because to me the author is familiar and i have read a lot of books by her and it sounds like a good book.

Hey peeps! I'm Abby, I really like to sing, act, dance, read, play soccer, and HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!! I have 3 pets- 2 dogs and one hamster. I'm 11 years old, born on July 15th 2002. My favorite colors are green and purple and my favorite animals are dogs, dolphins, giraffes, and hamsters. I like to read in a lot of categories but I don't really like non fiction but I read and like a lot of fiction.

My top 3 favorite books that I really enjoy and recommend are:

1. Eight Keys by Suzanne LaFleur.

This book is about a girl named Elise and both her parents passed away so she lives with her Aunt and Uncle and they are pretty wealthy. Elise's BFF is a boy named Franklin who seems to be very nice but one day their relationship starts to fade and for a while, Elise is on her own. For all her life, Elise has been wondering what is behind those eight doors that are in her Uncle's barn. Its up to her her to find the missing keys of the past.

2. Mango Shaped Space by Wendy Mass

Since birth, Mia has always saw something different in life. Words, sounds, and numbers have always had a color to them. This has always been a secret- but when it starts to affect schoolwork, she will have to spill it. After a while, Mia realizes that she has synesthesia, a mingling of senses.

3. One for the Murphy's by
